Résumé
Les auteurs rapportent le cas d’un enfant de 12 ans qui présentait des douleurs thoraciques persistantes en rapport avec la présence d’un corps étranger intrapleural métallique passé inaperçu dans les suites d’un traumatisme pénétrant du thorax survenu trois mois plus tôt. Une thoracotomie conventionnelle a permis d’extraire le corps étranger. L’évolution était simple.

Abstract
The authors report the case of a 12-year-old child who had persistent chest pain related to a metallic intrapleural foreign body that had gone undetected in the context of a penetrating thoracic trauma three months earlier. A conventional thoracotomy removed the foreign body. The evolution was straightforward.
