Résumé
Les auteurs rapportent une observation inhabituelle de cardiomyopathie par non-compaction isolée du ventricule gauche, responsable d’une insuffisance cardiaque globale chez une patiente de 28 ans, trois semaines après un accouchement par voie basse. Le diagnostic a été posé par écho-doppler cardiaque trans-thoracique. Cette observation permet de relever une étiologie rare d’insuffisance cardiaque dans le post-partum en Afrique sub-saharienne, de souligner la place importante de l’échocardiographie transthoracique, d’illustrer les critères du diagnostic positif de cette affection et de discuter le pronostic. Abstract
The authors report an unusual case of cardiomyopathy by isolated non-compaction of the left ventricle responsible of heart failure in a 28 years- old patient , three weeks after a normal delivery. The diagnosis was made by trans-thoracic echocardiography-doppler. This observation allows the identification of a rare cause of heart failure in the post-partum period in sub-Saharan Africa, to highlight the important place of transthoracic echocardiography and illustrate the criteria for positive diagnosis of this affection and discuss the prognosis.
